okayy...so I was thinking LOGICALLY about the development of our characters and I was thinking....okay I got permission on this one....anyways, it makes sense for Rupert to have a crush on Madeline, and for Rebecca to have a crush on Rupert...especially because it seems like she's the only one who can play off his jokes. (at least that's how I imagine it...what do u think? but we'll never directly address this in the screenplay...it's just underlying to create interesting relationships between the characters.) and I was thinking about other relationships and I was thinking about Katherine because she stands out from the others because she HAS NO relationship with any of them. Then I thought...wtf! she does! Jeremy is the only one who:

(a) is as calculating as her (although not as manipulative)
(b) sees her playing the piano, a practice which she tried to keep as secret from the others as possible, and she didn't totally chew him out for it!
(c) Katherine never gets neraly as bitchy with Jeremy as the others


DISCLAIMER:::: I'm not trying to suggest a romantic relationship between Jeremy and Katherine like there is with Thomas and Elizabeth....just more of a very subtle connection between the two!!!!!!!!!! NO ROMANCE WHATSOEVER!!!! just more of an...understanding
